Our
church is committed to biblical worship. It is a priority and
follows biblical pattern. We do not take for granted that everyone
understands our vision, philosophy and principles of worship.
This lays out the three basic foundations for involvement:
Understanding
the vision, understanding my commitment as the senior pastor
and understanding your qualification and commitment
Committed to sustaining a fervent worship spirit in our congregation
through the biblical expressions of worship as taught in scripture
(1 Peter 2:5-9)
Committed to proper spiritual preparation for worship through
pre-service prayer for all worshippers, especially those who
lead in worship.
Genesis 35:2-3 Be clean and change your garments
Exodus 30:18-21; 40:12-16 The laver principle of
approaching though washing first.
Hebrews 10:22 Have our hearts sprinkled from an
evil conscience.
Committed to a spirit of excellence in our music
(mentioned 839 times in the Bible) and worship ministry, excellence
in attitudes, dress, modesty, etc.
Committed to the river of God as being the power
of our worship and the purpose of our worship. I am not interested
in techniques, methods and creativity that do not enhance the
river of God . All songs and worship should be in the river
of God , in the flow of God’s Holy Spirit. We are a people of
His presence (Acts 3:19).
Committed to the teaching of the Tabernacle of
David as being the pattern for New Testament worship. (The order
of singers and musicians)
Committed to the prophetic ministry released in
the presence of true worship.
Committed to the theology of creativity and spontaneity as it
is rooted in God’s word, allowing for new, contemporary, cutting-edge
expressions in both music and song. God is alive, living, changing
and growing through us and our worship must be new, growing,
changing and allowing for changes.
Committed to worship and praise through instruments as Psalm
150 speaks. We shall endeavor to nurture more skilled musicians,
more instruments of all kinds, and more prophetic spirit upon
the instruments.
Committed to nurturing a dynamic, unified, committed, spirited,
anointed flexible, prophetic, cutting-edge, edifying, stronghold
breaking, devil chasing, worshipping church.
